Attention Assist Snaps You Out Of It

Mercedes intends to make their cars even smarter than they already are at the moment by studying the brain waves of sleepy drivers while matching it with lackadaisical steering tendencies so that the vehicle is able to know when you're about to doze off at the wheel. This system is known as Attention Assist, and it will rely on precision sensors located on the steering column to watch your attention level, letting out an obnoxious alarm if you're going to fall asleep - alongside displaying an icon right smack in the middle of the speedometer to suggest you stop for a hot, steaming cup of joe. Attention Assist will make its way to E-Class cars soon, and if you're rich enough to buy that, chances are you can afford a driver to ferry you around town while you snooze behind."
